Ian Campbell talks about forthcoming developments at iCONECT

iCONECTIan Campbell is CEO and President of iCONECT, makers of the iCONECT-XERA eDiscovery review software. I interviewed him at Legaltech. We got through a lot of topics in five minutes – the video interview is below.

As well as opening rather fine new premises, iCONECT is planning to split into two divisions, one in its historic legal area and one in healthcare.

iCONECT has also enhanced its partnership with Nuix, with the Nuix processing engine now baked into iCONECT’s software, easily accessed from a Nuix “tile”.

The management of multimedia has been improved, including access to large video and audio files and their metadata. A first-pass reviewer can mark a section of a video or audio recording so that a subsequent reviewer can go straight to the marked passage.

Ian Campbell talks also of new access by smartphone, allowing a client or manager to get an immediate update on the status of a matter.

Lastly, iCONECT now has new connections to Microsoft Office 365, with new capabilities to search and retrieve Office 365 data from the Cloud.
