A new resource called the Chronicle of eDiscovery for Financial Services has begun publication with the ambition to bring together experts in the fields of eDiscovery, data forensics and information management and governance with a particular focus on financial services.
Its founding sponsor is Consilio, whose eDiscovery and investigations skills are relevant to all businesses but which have a particular focus on financial services in the US, Europe, Asia-Pacific and elsewhere. The most recent development in this area is the tools for managing Bloomberg Chat, which I wrote about here.
The Chronicle of eDiscovery publishes articles by its own editorial staff and includes links to relevant articles by others including me and Jonathan Fowler, VP and Chief Information Security Officer for Consilio. Recent articles include one on putting information security at the centre of eDiscovery, one about the implications of the Schrems safe harbour judgment, one by Drew Macaulay of Consilio in London on subject access requests and one about the review of non-traditional media, all of which are, or should be, high on the list of anyone responsible for eDiscovery and information management in financial services.
In a crowded market, the Chronicle of eDiscovery is a resource which I find valuable. You can subscribe to it from this page.
