New technology for collaboration, communication and productivity turns up at both ends of the discovery process – not just in the ever more sophisticated tools for managing discovery documents but in the proliferation of new tools, data sources and data types used by businesses and individuals.
All discovery jurisdictions have a definition of a document similar in effect to that in the Civil Procedure Rules of England and Wales – “anything in which information of any description is recorded”. The new apps which people start using today become the sources of discovery data of tomorrow, raising all sorts of practical as well as legal considerations.
Nuix has assembled a first rate team to discuss these issues in a webinar on 1 December. They are:
Hon. Xavier Rodriguez, US District Judge, Western, District of Texas
Craig Ball, Attorney and Forensic Technologist
Scott Cohen, Director of eDiscovery & Information Governance, Winston & Strawn LLP
Angela Bunting, Vice President eDiscovery, Nuix
It should be good. There is more information and a link to a registration form here.
