I wrote approvingly recently (OutIndex imports orators as well as Outlook) about OutIndex, whose applications allow users to bring in house the process of collecting, indexing and reviewing electronic files, whether mail messages from Outlook or Lotus Notes, or Word and other documents in the file system.
OutIndex have announced the appointment of Mark R Winston as Senior Applications Architect. Mark Winston’s background includes high-profile, international forensic data analysis performing data analytics used as evidence for a variety of civil and criminal litigation matters.
Nii Larnyoh, Founder of Outindex said “Mark brings a wealth of forensic, compliance, and enterprise data analysis to the Outindex team. His first major contribution was to design Outindex Acquisitor, which enables the harvesting and cataloguing of electronically stored information.”
OutIndex’s main application is called OutIndex Discovery. My own particular interest in OutIndex lies in its eDiscoveryXpress application which claims modestly that it brings electronic data imports within reach of the novice. So it does, but its output is more than comprehensive enough for most litigation.
It allows me to offer a fast, good-value service to law firms who want to get a quick sight of the data without major expense. I can deliver it either in raw form or, more usefully, with some manipulation which makes it ready for Disclosure without compromising its original integrity. It can be delivered in OutIndex’s own review application, OutIndex Review or ready for any vehicle from an Excel spreadsheet to any of the major litigation support tools.
For those who want continuing support, I can then help as required during the life of the case, so that you have help always available but pay only for the resource you need.
OutIndex supply eDiscoveryXpress for £250 per year. OutIndex Review is available for £100.
OutIndex seem technically well on top of their subject as it is. The arrival of Mark Winston will presumably add to that.
